Alexandra’s Project, Rolf de Heer’s intimate thriller, was selected to participate in official competition at the Berlin Film Festival in 2003 and won Best Film at Montreal. The story created furious debate and divided opinion between the genders. It was selected for many international festivals and nominated for Best Film at the 2003 Australian Film Institute Awards
