Kate Croser is an Adelaide-based producer and production manager. In 2007 she joined forces with fellow producer, Julie Ryan, to create cyanfilms, a production company based at the South Australian Film Corporation.

Kate's first feature film MY TEHRAN FOR SALE (produced with Julie Ryan) was shot entirely on location in Tehran in August 2008. The film premiered In Competition at the 2009 Adelaide Film Festival and was officially selected for the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival, 2009 Pusan International Film Festival and 2010 Rotterdam Film Festival. The producing team also won the Independent Spirit Award at the 2009 IF Awards.

Previously Kate produced animated comedy series STANLEY & DEAN (2008 Palm Springs International Film Festival) as well as the short feature drama ANGELA'S DECISION. Kate has worked in production roles on feature films for Vertigo Productions and Kojo Pictures as well as in television, documentary and short film.

Kate is committed to the development and ongoing vibrancy of the local South Australian industry and currently serves as the co-chair of the SA Screen Industry Council, a committee member for the SA branch of the Australian Writers' Guild, and a board member of the Media Resource Centre.

With cyanfilms, Kate has several feature films and comedy series for television currently in development with some of Australia's most talented emerging filmmakers.
